Glimpse of the Cherry Hill's Ward Campout

Our ward had a camp out on August 20-21, 2010. It was a lot of fun! These pictures are a few of the ones I took. The others I haven't downloaded, so hopefully I will get those added soon! It was a lot of fun, and we are just grateful that our ward had one this year, because it has been the only camping we got to do this summer!

I love this one of Lydia. The sunflowers were everywhere up there, and I just LOVE those happy flowers! I just called her name, and she turned! Pony tail still in motion! :)
And Brigham embodies what camping is all about! Getting out and dirty! He loved drinking soda while we were there...I don't know if we can call it drinking, since at least 70% of it ended up down his belly! But, it definitely entertained him!
Look at that face! It just kills me! Those round eye balls and puffy lips, just make him so kissable!
And here he is making sure to get every drop out! He loves drinks! He will whine for a drink and I'll tell him, "say please"..."PEES!" He is quite proud of himself! And he has learned that "PEES" gets him a lot of things! From story books read to cuddling in bed with mom in the morning! Even if I start with "not right now", after that confident "PEES" I melt and find time! It's a good thing too, he will be saying "please" soon enough, so I gotta treasure the little times we share!
Here is Ray playing with his friend Nathan! They were creating a trap or death sentence for any bug that happened to be on the trail that day! If you haven't noticed, Ray loves this shirt. He calls it his "cowboy shirt". So, anytime he is about to do anything out doors, he changes into his "cowboy shirt", and feels dressed for the occasion!

These are cute ones of Bobby! He is totally in his element when he gets to be out camping! I absolutely love the Huck Finn picture of him walking around! Bobby really brings our family a lot of peace! He just naturally loves life! I hope he will stroll through all of his trials, and keep his peacemaker attitude! It makes all the difference in the family!

  1. You have such cute pictures on your blog! (Of course). Your kids are stinkin cute! (Also, no surprise...) I love the little "terror" child you supposedly have! Mine is the same way. Out of control! I hope my others are calm and that THIS isn't the Hargrove mold!!!!
